Jio 3 Year Plan: Rs 10,000 Price, Benefits, Validity
Jio 3 year plan costs Rs 10,000 for 36 months: unlimited 5G, 2.5 GB/day, 100 SMS/day, Canva Pro Lite and 50 GB cloud. Benefits and FAQs explained.

The Jio 3 year plan is a new prepaid pack priced at Rs 10,000 that keeps your number active for 36 months with a single recharge. As per reports, Reliance Jio announced it on 6 November 2026 and says it goes live across India from 7 November. Here is what the plan includes, how the cost works out per month, and what is still unclear.
What is the Jio 3 year plan?
It is a long-validity prepaid plan: you pay Rs 10,000 once and get three years of service, with no yearly renewal. According to reports in The Times of India and TelecomTalk, Jio is pitching it as an "industry-first" three-year unlimited connectivity plan, and the price and benefits are locked in for the full 36 months.
That "locked-in" part is the real hook. During the three years you would not need to recharge again, and the plan's price would not change even if tariffs are revised, as per the reports. Day1 could not find a Jio press release for the plan on Jio's own newsroom at the time of writing, so the details below rest on news reports, not on a primary Jio document.
What are the Jio 3 year plan benefits?
As per reports, the Rs 10,000 plan includes:
- Validity: 3 years (36 months)
- Voice calls: unlimited
- Data: 2.5 GB of high-speed data per day, with unlimited 5G data access
- SMS: 100 per day
- Entertainment: JioHotstar Mobile + Hollywood
- Productivity: Canva Pro Lite for 12 months
- Storage: 50 GB of JioAICloud storage
Note that Canva Pro Lite is bundled for 12 months only, not for the full three years, according to the reports. The reports we read do not state how long the JioHotstar benefit lasts, so check the plan page in the MyJio app before you recharge.
How much does it cost per month?
Spread over 36 months, Rs 10,000 works out to roughly Rs 278 a month. That is Day1's own arithmetic (10,000 divided by 36), not a figure from Jio. It is a simple average and ignores the value of the bundled extras, so compare it with your current monthly or yearly recharge before deciding. TelecomTalk points out that not everyone can pay Rs 10,000 upfront, and that the plan also ties a user to Jio for three years.
When will the Jio 3 year plan be available?
As per reports, the plan goes live nationwide on 7 November 2026. Recharge channels named in the reports are the MyJio app, Jio.com, Jio Stores and other Jio recharge outlets. The reports do not say whether the plan is open to existing customers, new connections or both, so that remains unconfirmed.
Is the Jio 3 year plan worth it?
It depends on how you use your phone. The plan suits people who keep one number for years, want predictable costs and are fine paying a large amount at once. It is a poor fit if you may switch operators, since a prepaid recharge of this size is a commitment. If you already pay for a streaming or design subscription, the bundled JioHotstar, Canva Pro Lite and cloud storage add value; if not, the data and calling benefits are the main reason to look at it.
