Temple wearable price is the question everyone is searching after Zomato co-founder Deepinder Goyal opened pre-orders for his head-worn health tracker on 1 November 2026. Digit reports that the package is said to include lifetime access to Temple's software and the adhesive "Grips" that hold the device on the skin, and that buyers can reportedly ask for a refund until their device ships. Temple's own website does not show the price without signing in, so Day1 could not confirm the ₹85,000 figure or the lifetime subscription on an official page. Treat both as reported, not official.

How to pre-order Temple?

Goyal posted on X at 9:30 PM IST on 1 November: "Temple pre-orders open now. Order at temple.com, or from the app at temple.com/app." Eight minutes later he wrote that there was "too much traffic" on the website and that orders were working on the app. The site was back about 100 minutes after launch, with Goyal adding: "I hope it holds. Don't rush please."

On delivery, Goyal has said each Temple is made to order. His 21 October post said every unit is "hand-made to order and delivered to you within three months of your purchase", and on 31 October he wrote that it "ships early 2027". Early-access members got their pre-order invites by email from 26 October.

Temple vs Apple Watch: what did the study claim?

On 1 November, Goyal shared an internal Temple study on heart-rate accuracy. Participants ran a graded treadmill test while wearing Temple, five flagship wearables and a Polar H10 chest strap taped to the chest as the reference. Temple's science page says that in high-intensity zones 4 and 5, Temple's mean absolute error was 1.14 bpm, against 1.92 to 5.17 bpm for the other wearables. Goyal wrote that "Apple Watch Series 12 came closest".

Two caveats. First, this is the company's own study; Temple says an extended study by independent researchers is underway and it will fund more replication. Second, on 2 November Goyal posted a "retake", saying the company had made "communication mistakes" in the first post. His clearer claim: Temple tracks heart rate more accurately than a normally worn chest strap in zones 4 and 5. He also wrote: "Skeptics are urged to wait before buying."

Temple return policy: will the 14-day return go?

In the same post, Goyal said Temple currently offers a 14-day no-questions-asked return policy in India, but he is "tempted to follow the global standards set by Apple" and not offer it. "I will sleep over it," he wrote. So for now the 14-day return stands, but it may change. Check the terms at checkout before you pay.

What does Temple actually do?

Temple is a small device worn with adhesive on the temple, the side of the head. Its website says it reads an "Entropy" measure of how hard your body works to shed heat, combining Resting Entropy and Entropy Max into one score called Span. It also tracks blood flow to the brain, which the company calls BrainFlow. Temple's homepage also says: "We do not pay anyone to wear or promote Temple."
